Unlike many journalists, I understand the value of great photography and have forged strong relationships with Europe's best exponents of the art.

Paul

Paul is a corporate whore and very camp, an image hardly helped by living in Queen's Park and an emotional response to an incident with knife-wielding Belgian thugs. But he does make exceedingly good pictures.

Jakob

Winner of the Motorsport News Award for the Nicest Man in Motorsport Award (unofficial) and a great photographer, if only he'd give up his obsession for racing. If he sees two snails side-by-side, he'll go get his cameras . . .

Raymond

Me and Raymond talked about doing jobs for years, then we did some, and we liked it. Being Dutch he didn’t realise what he was saying, though, when he told me every time he’s in Germany he always “takes a Schnitzel”.

Chris

Chris actually seems very balanced and normal, and is only cursed by his decision to buy a brand new pea-green Peugeot 307 that is now falling apart from the inside. He, too, is Dutch, but has shown none of the tendencies that Euro Trash and Amsterdam's thriving film industry taught me to expect.
